in favor. aye. thank you. >> we are now on item 8, the san francisco marina west harbor. >> good morning, commissioners, i'm mary hobson, project manager of the recreation and parks department capital, i in the p.m. are in charge of seeing the ren vaetion of the marina west harbor, this is a request to approve an increase in contract value for our consultants, construction management firm four leaf, four leaf has been on site overseeing the construction of the project since may of 2011, during that time, they have been responsible for the day-to-day oversight inspection tracking of the schedule and budget processing change orders and essentially keeping our contractor in line. over the course of the project, also, there have been some changes that we have come to 4 leaf to help us that we're not under their original scope of services and the results fees for those additional services have resulted in a contract increase above 10%, that is why i'm here today to ask for your approval. the original contract value for this project was 799 thousand 990 dollars. we are asking to increase the c

'm going to say at this point, mill valley, tiburon, sausalito, and now over parts of san francisco, the marina area, the sunset richmond district, perhaps a few scattered showers falling on your rooftop as well. as i slide down to over south san francisco, half moon bay, san mateo still try at the moment. this will be on and off through the morning hours. and then it will turn to a steady, moderate to heavy rain at times for your afternoon. the wind will also be picking up along with the front and some active weather, a possibility with the storm thunderstorms definitely will be an issue if we get through the afternoon. you may see an isolated thunderstorm or two, i should say. your forecast here, anywhere from .50 to 1 inch for the north bay. .25 to 1 for the south bay. ant inch expected for the santa cruz mountains. not as much rain as we saw on sunday. it will be gusty at times and the ground is so satch sea uted, 2 won't -- is so saturated, it won't take a lot to topple trees. morning showers linnering erging through wednesday -- lingering through wednesday. i will be tracking

preeto, i live on marina boulevard, i'm a registered voter and a taxpayer in san francisco. i didn't have a chance to'é( zÑo a meeting in the marina the other night. i knew this was covered. i didn't have a chance to speak. i was working at the time unfortunately. the upcoming opening of a restaurant on the marina, i'd like to file a protest here and now and hopefully be presented at the next december 4 meeting, to have the residents in that area express their concern about the restaurant that's being opened on theup9Ñ marina green. this is a place where children play soccer every weekend. there's -- games, there's events coming every weekend. at times it's impossible to park in my of my own house and i live the boulevard. to tear down a facility to put alcohol in the presence of into consideration as well as the amount of traffic, the congestion, the -- not even talking about the amp yawns. iÑd%( ;?ñ would like to come bae on december 4 to have itfçje5fn reviewed. >> president chiu: thank you. next >> my name is art scampa. i'm a resident of the marina for the last 30 years. i'm
